At Happy Faces we find that 99.9 % of mums ask the same question "How do I get rid of tangles?". The old fashioned saying is prevention is better then cure and we believe that at Happy Faces. Leaving tangles and just hiding from the fact that one day you will have to gear up the courage and get through them with a comb is just not making the result any better, so having a box with some fabulous essentials is the key to beautiful curls and lovely locks.

Cheap inappropriate brushes and combs only tug, tighten and tear tangles from your little one's hair! Well help is at hand. There are 3 small keys to healthy, strong and beautiful hair.

1. The way you brush the hair...

Easing tangles out starting from the ends of the hair and working up towards the roots helps tangles stay away.

2. Use a brush that is of good quality...

A Tangle Teezer hairbrush will break the cycle of broken hair and give tangled hair the brush off. A revolution in detangling hair, it has the ability to flex and not pull upon contact with tangles, gently and effortlessly delivering smooth and shiny hair in an instant. The result?
Hair perfection

3. Good natural hair products...

Natural and Organic hair products like Mini-u are best for children's hair as they are free of toxins and are more gentle on the hair and scalp. Results are always better when you use a product that is aimed at children. After all it should be just as much fun wash your hair as it is getting dirty right?

Tangle story...

Harriett age 3 came for a haircut today but it is plain to see that she hates having her hair touched, cut and most of all combed. Her mother had taken her to several salons before and with 4 failed attempts in the past they found us. As Harriett stepped in, the pink car immediately caught her eye, she looked at me and to my surprise she wanted to sit in there. Clingy at first she soon settled down as peppa pig played on her screen. Her mother could not believe her eyes she said this is amazing I have never seen her like this before.

As I walked over to Harriett armed with my pink tangle teezer, I could feel her eyes watching me with fear as I start to comb her matted locks. Harriett is such a beautiful little girl but her knotted hair was too much for the tangle teezer alone, I needed extra help so I reached for the best detangler spray by Mini-u and got stuck in, with her eyes on me, I slowly attempted this straggly broken disaster of locks. Starting from the bottom gently brushing out months of torture and pain. The tangle teezer now gliding through her hair section by section, she began to relax and was engrossed in peppa pig she didn't even notice or bat an eyelid that I was still combing her hair. 10 minutes later Harriett finally had a good cut she needed and a result that left her smooth glossy curls.
